Athena SCF
Website for a financial advisory firm, moved from WordPress to Astro, with 375 pages and 282 articles.
Fast online shops with payments, shipping and invoicing connected, ready to sell from day one.
Web · also on existing projects
You have products that would sell online too, but the shop you have (or the one you’ve been offered) feels more like a problem than a solution: slow, awkward to update, with orders that then have to be copied by hand between emails, invoices and shipping.
An online shop is more than a catalogue. It’s payments, shipping, emails, invoices and returns that all have to work together. We connect the shop to the rest of your business, so an order produces everything it needs on its own and you can focus on customers instead of copying and pasting.
These three things decide whether an online shop saves you time or costs you time.
Payments. We connect Stripe (the service that handles card payments), PayPal and bank transfer. Customers pay in a few steps, even on their phone, and you see the confirmed order straight away.
Shipping. We set up rates by weight, zone or order value, in-store collection if you offer it, and emails that keep the customer updated at every step.
Invoices. Where possible, order details go straight into your business or invoicing software, with no retyping. In our business platform the XML file for Italian e-invoicing (SDI) is generated from the details collected from the customer, and we take the same approach when we connect a shop to your system.
21Million Academy sold finance courses on WordPress and LearnDash, with a heavy theme. We rebuilt it with an Astro website and a custom backend that handles courses, enrolments and progress, with protected videos and a mobile app linked to the same accounts.
For Athena SCF too, the shop that used to run on WooCommerce now lives in their business software, alongside the client area, bookings and invoicing.
Physical shops that want to sell online as well, producers and craftspeople, food businesses, trainers and professionals selling courses or consultations. If you already have an online shop, we can start from there instead of starting over.
An online shop starts from €3,500 as a one-off fee. The final cost depends on the number of products and variants, and on integrations with your business and invoicing software: after a call we send you a written quote with everything included.
It depends on the number of products, the integrations and your budget. For small and medium catalogues WooCommerce or Shopify work well; when you need specific logic (courses, subscriptions, connected business software) we build a custom solution.
Yes. At handover we run a training session on products, orders and returns, and leave you a written guide.
Yes. We start by checking speed, checkout, payments and plugins, then tell you whether it's worth fixing or rebuilding, and why.
We can connect the shop to your business software or invoicing tool, so the order details arrive already filled in. What can be automated depends on the software you use: we check this before quoting.
