Logo and graphic design

Logos, brand identity and graphic materials that work as well on a phone as they do on paper.

Marketing

A friend made your logo years ago, there is only one blurry file of it, and every time you need a flyer or a post someone redraws it their own way. The result is a business that looks different every time.

We design logos and materials made to be used in practice: legible as a social media profile icon and on a shop sign. And we leave you clear files and rules, so everyone who works with you, from the printer to the colleague who does the posts, keeps the same style.

When you need it

  • You are opening a new business and need an identity from scratch.
  • You have a logo, but only as a low-resolution image or inside a Word document.
  • Your logo becomes illegible when it is small, for example as a profile picture or icon.
  • Your flyers, posts and website use different colours and fonts every time.
  • You need to prepare material for a trade fair, an event or an opening and want it to be consistent.
  • Your printer asks for “vector” or “CMYK” files and you do not know what to send.

How we work

  1. Brief. We talk about your business, your audience and your tastes, and gather the materials you use today.
  2. Research. We look at how your competitors present themselves and look for visual references that suit you.
  3. Concepts. We show you a few directions, each tested on real uses such as a shop sign, a post and a business card.
  4. Development. We refine the chosen direction with the agreed rounds of revisions.
  5. Complete system. We create the logo variants, colour palette, typefaces and first materials.
  6. Delivery. We hand over all the files, neatly organised, with the usage guidelines, and remain available for future materials.

What you receive on delivery

A logo is not a single file. We deliver a tidy folder with everything you need to use it anywhere without having to call us.

The logo versions

  • the main version, horizontal or vertical depending on the design;
  • a compact or symbol-only version, for icons and profile pictures;
  • a positive version (dark on a light background) and a negative version (light on a dark background);
  • a single-colour version, for stamps, engraving and low-cost printing.

The file formats

  • SVG and EPS or vector PDF: files that scale up without losing quality, for your printer or signmaker;
  • PNG with a transparent background, in several sizes, for your website, documents and social media;
  • CMYK files for print and RGB files for screens, because colours behave differently in each.

The usage rules

A short guide of a few pages explaining the colours and their codes, the typefaces to use, the minimum clear space around the logo, the smallest size allowed and what to avoid, such as stretching it or placing it on backgrounds that make it unreadable.

Who it is for

Shops, restaurants, professional practices and businesses in Perugia and Umbria, Italy, and clients working with us remotely, who want a polished image that is easy to use. If you first want to clarify who you are and how you want to present yourself, start with brand positioning: the design comes afterwards and works better for it.

Frequently asked questions

How many logo concepts will I receive?

We present a few different directions, each one explained, and develop the one you choose with the rounds of revisions agreed in the quote. We put the exact number in writing before we start.

Do I own the logo?

Yes. On delivery we transfer the usage rights to you and give you the original editable files, so you do not depend on us to use it or have it changed.

Can you refresh the logo I already have?

Yes. Often it is enough to clean up the design, adjust the typefaces and create the missing versions, such as a small one for social media, without changing what customers recognise.

Do you handle printing too?

We prepare print-ready files with the correct sizes, bleed and colours. If you like, we can deal with your printer directly or recommend one.

What do you need from me to get started?

A chat about who you are and who you are aiming at, a few examples of designs you like and some you do not, and any materials you currently use.
