Your WordPress site works, more or less. But it hasn’t been updated for months, you don’t know whether there are any backups, and whoever built it no longer answers. Then one day you get a blank page, a security warning or a screen full of ads you didn’t put there.

With our maintenance service you get a named contact who knows your site, keeps it updated and secure, and replies when you need a change. You can choose a clear monthly plan or just call us when you need us.

When you need it

• The WordPress dashboard is asking for dozens of updates and you’re afraid to press the button.
• You don’t know whether the site has a backup, or where it is.
• The person who built the site has gone or doesn’t reply.
• The site has been attacked, redirects to strange pages or is flagged by Google as dangerous.
• You need small changes (opening hours, a photo, a new page) and don’t know who to ask.
• You run a WooCommerce shop and any downtime costs you orders.

How we work

1. Initial check. We look at your WordPress version, theme, plugins, logins and backups, and tell you what we found.
2. Securing the site. We update anything that has fallen behind, remove unnecessary plugins and replace weak logins.
3. Backups and monitoring. We set up daily backups and a check that alerts us if the site goes offline.
4. Monthly updates. We update core, theme and plugins after taking a backup, and check the main pages.
5. Changes on request. Tell us what you need, we do it and let you know when it’s live.

Sites built by others

Almost every site we take on was built by someone else: another agency, a freelancer, a relative. That’s fine. We won’t ask you to rebuild it.

The first step is understanding how it’s put together. We often find themes with expired licences, plugins abandoned by their developers, page builders (visual editors such as Elementor) that weigh down every page, and admin logins that have been shared for years. We send you a plain-English summary of what to fix now and what can wait.

If the site is in such a state that maintaining it costs more than rebuilding it, we tell you, with our reasons. The choice is yours: we can keep it running and improve it bit by bit, speed up what’s there with our website speed service, or plan a new website without losing your page addresses.

A real example

We also know WordPress from the inside. We developed Contact Widget Hub, a WordPress plugin for WhatsApp contact, support tickets and live chat that runs entirely on the client’s own site, with no outside services. Writing plugins means knowing how themes, updates and the database behave, which is exactly what you need when working out why a site has broken.
